Auto Show Chief Jerry Cizek To Receive BBB Lifetime Achievement Award

Chicago Auto Show Helps Feed Area Hungry
Hunger is a year-round problem that needs year-round attention, and for the past 15 years the organizers of the Chicago Auto Show have helped stock the shelves of those in need of food with a special discount admission promotion. This year, those who bring three cans of food Wednesday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 19 will receive a $4 discount off the regular full admission price of admission.

Chicago Auto Show "Goes Red" to Help Women

FORD TO BRING NEXT-GENERATION FORD EXPLORER, 1,200 JOBS TO CHICAGO MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
Ford Motor Company today announced it will produce the next-generation Ford Explorer SUV at the company’s Chicago Assembly Plant beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.
Ford is investing nearly $400 million in its Chicago manufacturing facilities to launch production of the new, fuel-efficient Ford Explorer. The company also will add 1,200 new jobs to staff a second production shift at Chicago Assembly Plant and increase production at the nearby Chicago Stamping Plant.
