2013 FIAT 500/500c: With Italian styling and American ingenuity, the 2013 Fiat 500 subcompact is offered as a two-door hatchback or as the 500c (cabrio/convertible), both with a Multiair 101 horsepower 1.4 liter four-cylinder engine. Retractable soft top operable at speeds up to 60 miles per hour with unprecedented three-position top design. This year, the model lineup includes the Fiat 500 and 500c Pop, Sport and Lounge editions. The Pop and Sport have a five-speed manual gearbox, while the six-speed automatic is optional but standard on the Lounge. The available safety features include traction control, antiskid system, ABS, front- and rear-side airbags, curtain-side airbags, and driver-knee airbag. Other standard features include air conditioning, power windows/locks/mirrors, and cruise control. The Sport versions have specific exhaust tuning, sport suspension, and exclusive interior and exterior trim. Lounge hatchbacks are designed with a fixed-glass roof, and a sunroof is optional on all hatchbacks. The wireless cell phone link is standard on all models however, except the Pop hatchback. Lounge and Sport models have optional heated front seats and come with the automatic transmission. Leather upholstery is only offered in the Lounge. The rear obstacle detection comes customary in all models besides the Lounge hatchback where it is optional.
