2013 BUICK VERANO:
For the 2013 model year, the Buick Verano four-door sedan expands its appeal in the compact luxury segment by offering a choice of two four-cylinder engines. A 180 horsepower, Ecotec 2.4-liter direct injected four is standard, while the available 2.0L turbo four-cylinder delivers 250 horses, and increases the performance of an already capable, responsive luxury sedan. Both powerplants can be ordered with a six-speed automatic or available six-speed manual gearbox. Verano is available in four models for 2013 - the base Verano (1SD) and uplevel Convenience (1SG), Leather (1SL) and Verano Turbo (Premium 1ST group). All Verano models carry Buick design cues, including the arching roofline, black chrome waterfall grille and signature portholes. The five-passenger interior is marked by seat comfort and support, rich leathers, warm woods, metallic accents and ice blue ambient lighting. Rearview camera is standard on all models, as is Intellilink that can connect the driver's smartphone - via voice activation and steering wheel-mounted controls - to a seven-inch, high-resolution, full-color touch screen display radio. Although the Verano is classified as a compact it offers a healthy 15.2 cubic feet of trunk room. The '13 Verano Turbo is distinguished by dual exhaust, sport pedals, rear spoiler, heated leather seating and steering wheel, premium nine-speaker Bose audio system, and other premium features.
