Each offers the nimble handling of a compact four-door sedan and five-door hatch in front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. Since its introduction, the SX4 has benefited from a full 2.0-liters four cylinder engine that delivers 150 horsepower in combination with 140 lb. ft. of torque when linked to a six-speed manual transmission, or 148hp/140lb.ft. torque with the continuously variable transmission (CVT). Beyond the numbers are a fluid delivery, instant responsiveness and a much smaller carbon footprint than the reliable predecessor. Both sedan and hatchback interiors provide comfortable accommodations for five passengers, with generous front and rear cabin legroom and headroom.
