2012 BMW 5 SERIES GRAN TURISMO: First introduced as a 2011 model, the unique BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo (Grand Touring), continues into 2012 in 535i and 550i trim levels. The 535i Gran Turismo and 535i xDrive Gran Turismo are equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder that delivers 300 horsepower/300 lb. ft. of torque, while the 550i Gran Turismo and 550i xDrive Gran Turismo includes a twin-turbo V8 packing 400hp and 450lb.ft.torque. Both engines come mated to eight-speed automatic transmissions and are capable of 150 mph top speeds. Accompanying the variable four-or-five passenger accommodations is variable cargo capacity, ranging from an already sizable 10 cu ft. in the sedan-style enclosed trunk to fully 63 cu ft. with folded rear seats and long cargo floor.
