2012 VOLVO C30: With the C30, Volvo made its debut in the segment for two-door premium cars. That was in 2008. For 2012, the sporty four passenger C30 with glass tailgate, continues to offer a young group of customers "a Volvo of their own." The C30 personality has been boosted this model year with a new, confident front, a bold styling kit for those who want even more attitude - and a new razor-sharp sports chassis. New for 2012 is the 17-inch, five-spoke diamond cut "Spider" wheel design. Trim levels include the T5 and R-Design with a variety of beauty and performance packages. The 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine is transversely installed and produces 227 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. Either a six-speed manual gearbox or five-speed Geartronic automatic transmission can be specified, and the maximum towing capacity is 2000.
