2013 AUDI Q7: Audi's seven-passenger Q7 premier SUV continues for 2013 to offer carlike handling and functional utility for every day driving. New this year are S line versions of the 3.0 TFSI and TDI models that include contrast paints, exposed dual exhaust tailpipes with polished tips and matte black trim on roof rails and around side windows. The Q7 offers a choice of versions of its 3.0-liter V-6: the 280-horsepower gasoline turbocharged, fuel-injected 3.0-liter TFSI engine, or the turbocharged direct injection TDI clean diesel engine with 225 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. If you order the 3.0T S, horsepower is bumped up to 333. An eight-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic is standard on all engines, as well as Audi's latest-generation Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system with asymmetric/dynamic torque distribution in a 40/60 split. A primary highlight for 2012 is the addition of Audi Connect to the Multi Media Interface (MMI) Navigation plus system enabling Google Earth and Google Local Search as well as a rolling Wi-Fi Hotspot for up to eight passenger devices. The sumptuous leather seats for up to seven occupants, and when third and middle seats are folded flat, the Q7 opens up to 72.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
