2012 INFINITI EX: With its sleek, sculpted, elegant skin, the 2012 Infiniti EX combines the look and feel of a luxury coupe and a crossover’s flexibility. That combination makes the EX a stand out in the crowd of upscale SUVs. Trim levels for the new model year include the EX35 and EX35 Journey, in your choice of Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive or rear-wheel drive configurations. All 2012 EX models come standard with a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 297-horsepower and 253 lb. ft. of torque. Also standard, are 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and a new seven-speed automatic transmission that replaces last year’s five-speed gearbox. The Infiniti EX shares nearly all of the innovative technologies found in the Infiniti FX and Infiniti QX – such as Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Intelligent Cruise Control and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning system. A new option is “Around View Monitor,” which utilizes four small cameras located front, side and rear to give the driver a “top-down view” of the outside of the vehicle and help reduce blind spots when parking.
