2012 BMW 7 SERIES: With the release of the 2012 models, the BMW 7 Series has once again raised the standard for maximum performance and luxury in premium automobiles. Available in 740i/Li, 750i/Li, 760 and Alpina B7 trim levels, the 7 Series can be ordered with an inline-6, V8, V8 mild hybrid, or V12 propulsion. Buyers also have a choice of rear-wheel or xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive configurations. Depending on the engine selection, a six-speed or eight-speed automatic transmission comes standard. The inline six on the 740 series features twin turbos to produce 315 horsepower and 330 lb. ft. of torque. A 4.4L V8 with unique reverse flow twin-turbos comes in three power selections for the 750 line with up to 500hp/516 lb .ft. of torque. At the top is the magnificent 6.0L turbo V12 that releases 535hp/550lb.ft. Specific changes for 2012 include standard iPod / USB Adapter, sport steering wheel and rear-view camera added to all models. The V8 models receive 19-inch wheels with all-season tires, and the Driver Assistance Package now includes side and top-view camera. Each 2012 BMW 7-Series sedan offers five-passenger comfort, along with 14.0 cu. ft. of luggage room.
