2013 Kia Sportage: Available in four trims - base, LX, EX and SX - the 2013 Kia Sportage is a powerful and fuel-efficient compact crossover, with new available features and refinements. Revised Kia badges compliment the vehicle's high beltline, sweeping angles and pronounced wheel flares. Sportage can be order with front-wheel or Dynamax all-wheel drive configurations, and Kia's efficient 2.4-liter DOHC four-cylinder with Continuously Variable Valve Timing supplies 176 horsepower. A 2.0-liter turbocharged GDI four-cylinder is standard on SX models - pumping out 260 hp. and offering up to 29 mpg on the highway. Buyers can match engines to a six-speed manual with overdrive, or an electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic. The maximum set-up permits the Sportage to tow up to 2,000 lbs., and when the 60/40 split-folding rear seat is down, haul 54.6 cu. ft. of cargo. New for 2013 is the Blue interior package that includes dark blue cloth seats, interior accents and black headliner. Standard on all Rio trims are sun visor extenders, power folding outside mirrors, Electronic Stability Control, a four-wheel Anti-lock Brake System and Hill-start Assist Control. Infotainment technology includes SiriusXM Satellite Radio with three months complimentary service, standard auxiliary and USB audio input jacks with MP3 capability, Bluetooth hands-free phone and streaming audio connectivity with steering wheel-mounted voice activation controls.
