2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS: A well-rounded model line-up awaits those interested in the 2013 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Body styles include a two-door coupe and cabriolet, four-door sedan and five-door wagon. These four-, five- and seven-passenger vehicles are available in E350, E350 BlueTec, E550 and E63 AMG trim levels. New standard equipment includes mbrace2, electromechanical steering, heated front seats and wheel upgrades. Larger 18-inch five-spoke wheels are available on the E350 Coupe and Cabriolet as is 4Matic all-wheel drive on the Coupe. There are new 18-inch five-twin spoke AMG wheels on the E550 Coupe and Cabriolet. The E-Class provides a large section of powertrains. Engines include a 3.0 liter turbo-diesel V-6 (210hp), 3.5L V-6 (302hp), 4.6L twin-turbo V-8 (402hp) and a 5.5L twin-turbo V-8 (518hp). All engines are linked to a more fuel-efficient seven-speed automatic transmissions, with rear-wheel or 4MATIC all-wheel drive configurations offered. Other highlights include new steering wheels with standard shift paddles, color instrument cluster display and LED daytime running lights (DRL). New driver assistance systems are offered such as Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist with automatic brake intervention, PRE-SAFE Brake with Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Highbeam Assist and Nightview Assist PLUS with pedestrian detection.
