2013 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO COUPE: Lamborghini models are always a hit when on display, and that goes for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Three variants are in the Comcast Business Class Garage exhibit, including a $217,940 Gallardo Coupe. Its mid-mounted 5.2 liter V-10 engine develops a whopping 560 horsepower and 397 lb. ft. of torque, and delivers it to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual. Optional is a robotized sequential system (E-gear) transmission with actuation by paddles on the steering column. While on the track, this 3,024 lb. supercar streaks from 0-to-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 199 mph. The frame of the car as well as body panels are made of aluminum, with thermoplastic ‘hang-on’ parts and an electronically controlled rear spoiler. Lamborghini has adopted a specific two-wheel drive developed ESP system that provides a rear with good stability and a front axle precise while entering the turn that enhance the sportiness and the driving pleasure. So, come to the Chicago Show and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini super sports cars, which have been handcrafted with passion and dedication since 1963 in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.
