2013 ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM DROPHEAD COUPE: Inspired by the J-class yachts of the 1930s, the Phantom Drophead Coupe continues the long tradition of two-door, four-seat Rolls-Royce convertibles. At the touch of a button, the hand-tailored soft-top canvas roof retracts, and the picnic boot adds to its uniquely sociable character. The rear-hinged coach doors allow easy entrance/exit from the elegant cockpit, while the teak decking and sisal carpets continues the car's nautical nature. Under the long hood is a V-12 engine that develops 453 horsepower and an amazing 531 lb. ft. of toruque. Even though the Drophead Coupe has a curb weighs of 5995 pounds, it can easily move from 0-to-60 mph in 5.6 seconds and reach a governed 149 mph top speed. As far as Rolls-Royce is concerned, "What could be more romantic than the sound of rain on a soft-top at night?"
