ASTON MARTIN DBRS9 RACE CAR: Motor sports fans, make sure to see the Comcast Business Class exhibit during the 105th Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 9-to-Feb 18, 2013. Among the many world-class exotic sports car on display, is the Aston Martin DBRS9 race car built for club and national racing series FIA GT3 competition. The aerodynamically enhanced exterior is constructed with carbon fiber panels and mated to a high tech bonded aluminum chassis. Weight-saving polycarbonate is used for the side and rear windows. Igniting the DBRS9 around the track is a DOHC 6.0 liter V-12 engine that pumps out 600 horsepower, and is match to a custom six-speed sequential manual gearbox. On the racing courses, the British super car blasts from 0-to-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and tops off at 195 mph. Note the numbers 007, referring to Aston Martins long association with legendary agent James Bond. The example on view in Chicago is courtesy of Lake Forest Sports Car, Lake Forest, Illinois. If you'd like to order a similar model, the manufacturer price starts at $325,000.
