CHEVROLET SONIC TJIN CONCEPT: Named for designer Neil Tjin from Tjin Edition, the Chevrolet Tjin Concept was featured during the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. There is an extensive use of carbon fiber treatments and engine performance upgrades, including a Vibrant Performance/Unique Fabrication intercooler kit and MagnaFlow exhaust setup. Additional performance products are custom anodized red Baer big brakes, Falken tires and Forgestar 18-inch wheels with F2 titanium lug nuts. Its custom DuPont Sky Blue exterior with accented flake by LR Autobody, is a step in a new direction from the paint trends that Tjin Edition began a few years ago. The carbon fiber hood, trunk and roof by Downforce are finished in a contrasting Dupont Navy Blue color. Custom interior adds Status racing carbon fiber seat, seat brackets, five-point harness, GlowShift gauges and custom pod, unique roll cage, Kicker audio system, NIX bottles on custom bottle holder and a Braille carbon fiber battery.
