2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA COUPE:
Hyundai took the opportunity to debut its 2013 Elantra Coupe at last year's Chicago Auto Show (CAS). During the upcoming 2013 CAS, the Elantra Coupe GS and SE trim levels will be displayed, sporting the results of the continuing evolution of Hyundai's "Fluidic Sculpture" design theme, translated to two-door, athletic design language. This includes the aggressive front grille with piano-black accents, Hyundai's signature hexagonal grille, jeweled swept-back headlights, fluidic sculpture character lines, wedge-like silhouette, integrated rear spoiler and dual exhaust. Complimenting the sleek exterior, the Coupe cockpit offers room for four, with standard heated front seats, push-button start and a trunk that holds up to 14.8 cu. ft. of sporting gear. Interior can be ordered in Beige, Black or Blue cloth or leather trim. Under the hood, the Elantra Coupe is powered by a 1.8-liter Nu four-cylinder engine that develops 148 horsepower to the front wheels. The powerplant can be matched to a six-speed manual gearbox or new in-house six-speed automatic transaxle with Shiftronic manual control. There are six exterior paint colors available for the Coupe, three unique from Elantra sedan choices: Monaco White, Black Noir Pearl and Volcanic Red.
