2012 FIAT 500 ABARTH: Staying faithful to the “small but wicked” saying coined for Karl Abarth’s cars in the 1960s, the new 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth arrives from Italy to America, building on the excitement of the new Fiat 500 (Cinquecento). Created for track-day enthusiasts and driving purists, the four-passenger Abarth is powered by an all-new 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that packs 160 horsepower and 170 lb. ft. of torque to the front wheels. Together with the heavy-duty five-speed manual transmission and 3.35 final-drive ratio, the Abarth features quick acceleration and faster top speed, while maintaining fuel efficiency. The Abarth trim-level also includes race-tuned suspension and brake systems, race-inspired design, and performance-tuned exhaust with a menacing sound.
