On display during the 104th annual extravaganza, is a 2012 Lamboghini Gallardo Spyder ready to receive the “Oh, Wow” reaction when showgoers make eye contact with the vehicle’s curvaceous form. Behind the jet fighter style two-seat cockpit is the longitudinal mid-rear mounted engine mated to either a six-speed manual or six speed automatic transmission. The 5.2-liter V10 powerplant generates 560 horsepower and 398 lb. ft of torque to the standard permanent four-wheel drive and viscous traction system. On dry pavement, the machine snaps from 0 to 60 mph in four-seconds and tops at a governed 200 mph. Depending on how its driven, the Gallardo Spyder has an EPA fuel rating between 10 to 16 mpg in the city and 16 to 24 highway.
