2012 MASERATI GRANTURISMO CONVERTIBLE: On display at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show is the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible, a spacious four-seat cabriolet designed by master coachbuilder Pininfarina. This GranTurismo model has the honor of being the first ever soft-top convertible to be developed and built at the company’s Modena, Italy headquarters. It only takes 24 seconds to transform from a high-performance coupé into a breathtaking cabriolet for four-passengers. A sophisticated 4.7-liter V8 engine is capable of 433 horsepower and 361 lb. ft. of torque to the standard light alloy 20-inch rear wheels. The engine is combined with a six-speed ZF automatic transmission that ensures 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds on its way to a 176 mph top speed. All this, and the hallmark sound of Maserati makes the GranTurismo Convertible a unique car that offers an infinite range of personalized choices thanks to a practically limitless range of leather, bodywork and roof color combinations. For an MSRP of $142,990, you can experience the art of open-air performance of the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible.
