Jun 07, 2012

NissanNextLogoIn a few weeks auto enthusiasts in the Chicago area will have the chance to get up close and personal with the innovative 2013 Nissan Altima and the Nissan LEAF, the first mass-produced 100% all-electric vehicle. The Nissan NEXT Innovation Center Tour hits town June 16-17 at Custer's Last Stand Festival of the Arts in Evanston from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

As part of Nissan's NEXT Tour, car fanatics nationwide are able to see Nissan's vision of what's next in automotive advancements by getting a sneak peek at the 2013 vehicle lineup. Additionally, visitors will get to test-drive a wide variety of Nissan models - beyond the new Altima and LEAF.

Upping the excitement factor, Chicagoans who visit the Nissan Next Center at Custer's Last Stand Festival of the Arts event have the chance to win a $500 gift card or, at the end of the 15-city tour, a brand new 2013 Nissan Altima.

I will be there! I really want to drive the leaf. I went to the Chicago Auto Show last year and missed out on the opportunity to take one for a test drive.

Too bad they don't make an all-electric version of the Altima. Now that would be cool! Brad in Westmont

Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf. Pick your poison. Either is a great city car, but I am not ready to drop the freedom that a pure gas vehicle delivers. Thankfully, the manufacturers are working overtime to increase fuel economy. Nate
