Ford VP Jim Farley to address MAMA at the Chicago Auto Show
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The 2011 Chicago Auto Show is excited to announce Ford Motor Company Group Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jim Farley will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 to members of the Midwest Automotive Media Association. As in years previous, the MAMA breakfast stands as the opening to the show's two-day media preview.
"We couldn't be more pleased than to have Mr. Farley in the leadoff position," said Kevin Mize, chairman of the Chicago Auto Show. "His career is simply astounding. He's been on the cutting edge of marketing and is admired for his forward thinking programs. I'm confident his appearance will set a positive tone for the show's preview."
Farley joined Ford in November 2007. Since joining the company, he has led Ford's drive to connect with customers through integrated global marketing, advertising, digital communication, brand development and research. In addition to Farley's global marketing role, he leads the company's global sales and service operations - the first time Ford has a single global leader for marketing, sales and service.
The MAMA breakfast will be held at 8:00am on Wednesday, February 9 in the Grand Ballroom of McCormick Place. Working media can apply for credentials through the Chicago Auto Show Web site, www.chicagoautoshow.com.
