Media Credentials

Chicago Auto Show Media Credentials are intended only for working media. They are valid for the Media Preview (Feb. 12 - 13, 2015) and the Public Show (Feb. 14 - 22, 2015). Media Credentials are not valid for admission to First Look for Charity. Corporate executives, exhibitors, and public relations personnel should register for Exhibitor Credentials. A valid government-issued photo ID is needed along with your credential to gain access to the show floor. Media Credentials are not valid for First Look for Charity.

ONLINE MEDIA CREDENTIAL REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN MID-NOVEMBER.

Journalists and photographers requesting media credentials at the media center will need the following:

  • valid, state- or government-issued photo ID
  • business card
  • printed examples of your work

If you don't have examples of your work, you will need a letter from your assignment editor or publisher on company letterhead. There are no exceptions to these rules.

The Chicago Auto Show Media Center is located on Level 4 of the North Building of McCormick Place in room N426. Media Center hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 11: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 12: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 13: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 14 - Wednesday, Feb.  18 & Friday, Feb. 20: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m
  • Thursday, Feb. 19 & Saturday, Feb. 21: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, Feb. 22: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
