FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO (February 6, 2014) – Ford Motor Co. Executive President of the Americas Joe Hinrichs delivered the keynote speech during the Economic Club of Chicago’s luncheon at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview. Hinrichs addressed an audience of nearly 00 Economic Club members, guests and journalists. Displayed were Ford’s iconic models including the 50th edition of the Mustang, the 2015 Lincoln Navigator, and the 2015 Ford F-150.

Hinrichs presented Ford’s plan on moving forward in the global automotive industry. In an industry that was forecasted to slow, Ford defied their predictions by growing the company by 25 percent.

“It is more competitive than it has ever been,” said Hinrichs. Hinrichs concluded with emphasizing the company’s future with their “One Ford” plan. The plan includes a global collaboration of automotive leadership to serve customer, employee, union, dealer, community, investor and supplier needs. “Ford is a global company,” Hinrichs said. “We take our One Ford vision very seriously.”

The luncheon ended with an interactive Q&A session with Hinrichs and audience members.
