Jaguar Lineup for the 2014 Chicago Auto Show

Jaguar will showcase a selection of vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show held February 6 to 17, 2014 at McCormick Place. 2014 models include the Jaguar F-TYPE, XF, XK and XJ.

Jaguar proudly announces its most dynamic North American lineup ever for 2014, with the all-new F-TYPE sports car joining the family as the heir to the Jaguar sports car legacy. The XJ flagship sedan range adds the XJR model, also with the 550hp engine, and the line gains numerous refinements. The stunning XFR-S sedan features a 550hp supercharged V8, with production limited to just 100 units for the model year. The XK range, meanwhile, continues to offer a true grand touring Coupe or Convertible, adding the ultra-performance XKR-S GT with just 30 units available for North America, 25 for the United States and five for Canada.

2014 Jaguar F-TYPE
The F-TYPE is a continuation of a sporting bloodline that stretches back more than 75 years and includes some of the most beautiful, thrilling and desirable sports cars ever built. With a lightweight aluminum architecture, the all-new Jaguar F-TYPE represents a return to the company’s heart: a two-seat, convertible sports car focused on performance, agility and driver involvement.

The Jaguar F-TYPE combines a lightweight chassis, prodigious power (340hp, 380hp and 495hp versions) and superb aerodynamics to achieve a pure sports car experience, yet with Jaguar elegance and luxury. All engines drive through an eight-speed ‘Quickshift’ automatic transmission, with a center console-mounted SportShift gear selector and steering wheel-mounted paddles for full manual control when desired.

This true two-seat sports car features a driver-focused interior that melds classic roadster feel with
high-tech controls. The new F-TYPE embodies a more purist sports car approach, while the larger, roomier XK Coupe and Convertible models offer a true grand touring driving experience, with emphasis
on long-distance comfort and luxury.

2014 Jaguar XJ Sedan
The Jaguar XJ, which debuted for 2011, brings dramatic design and a decidedly sporty driving spirit to the large luxury sedan segment, along with a nearly bespoke-level of interior luxury. The 2014 XJ range offers two wheelbase lengths, three different supercharged engines, and Jaguar Instinctive All Wheel Drive™2. This all-wheel drive system debuted in 2013 and is teamed exclusively with the 340hp 3-liter supercharged V6. An active torque-management system, Jaguar Instinctive All Wheel
Drive offers a performance-oriented rear-drive bias and can shift power to the front wheels to either pre-empt or counter wheel slip.2

Coupled to the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that was also new for 2013, the supercharged V6 delivers performance on par with the normally aspirated 5-liter V8 it replaces while offering better fuel economy. The XJ Supersport has been replaced for 2014 by the XJR models with an even higher-performance 550hp supercharged V8. All XJ engines feature Intelligent Stop/Start system for improved fuel economy.
