Chicago Auto Show - 1926
Concept Cars
The main attraction in the 1926 Chandler exhibit was the Metropolitan 4-door sedan. A small sign in front of the windshield advertised the car for a price of $1,895. Built in Cleveland, Ohio, the Metropolitan was powered by a six cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox, and rode on 33"x 6" balloon tires. Closed models came with dome light, sun visor and rear-view mirror.
