The Chicago Auto Show First Look for Charity, February 9, 2012 at McCormick Place, has been one of Chicago's largest and most prominent annual black-tie affairs for over 20 years. This year's gala will present a global celebration of the world's greatest annual food and drink traditions, all in one extravagant evening. This culinary exploration of culture will feature a feast of fine cuisine from Asian, European, American and Latin influences.

One of the most important Chinese ancient traditions, the Chinese New Year honors the end of winter. As we enter into the prosperous Year of the Dragon in 2012 we celebrate with traditional Chinese fare including noodle dishes and delicious dim sum.

Across the globe, guests will experience the high-energy Carnival de Brazil. The weeklong affair boasts colorful parades, masquerading beauties and samba music piping through the streets of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Here, indulge in a Brazilian churrascaria where an abundant supply of beef is roasted on the fire.

Head north where the USA's Independence Day weekend summons the smell of fresh-cut grass, a glittering sky of fireflies and sweet summer romance. Savor an Endless Summer Barbecue featuring grilled and smoked meats, and farm to table produce displayed on red and white checkered table cloths.

The fall season approaches with Oktoberfest as guests embark to Munich, Germany to experience traditional Bavarian cuisine including spiced sausage and brats, all while raising a stein of specially brewed beer.

During the final holiday, New Year's Eve, raise a toast to the sweet end of the year and a sparkling new beginning. Sing Auld Lang Syne while sipping crisp Champagne paired with decadent desserts and an artisan cheese display.

Bar stations around the gala will also serve Belvedere signature cocktails, domestic wines from Folie a Deux, domestic and imported beer, and soft drinks.
