Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Opens Chicago Auto Show Social Media Preview Day With Product-Laden Breakfast

Fiat Chrysler kicked off day two of the 2015 Chicago Auto Show Media Preview with a news conference and traveling breakfast. Wendy Orthman, Midwest PR manager for Chrysler, welcomed the press to enjoy breakfast while listening to a brief summary of four of Chrysler’s newest models.

The conference opened up by introducing the new 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel. The truck holds true to its “Rebel” name by offering a choice of a potent 305-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, or the legendary 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine. Ram utilized the four corner air suspension feature in the Rebel model, making the truck one inch taller than Ram’s other 4x4 trucks.

2015 marks the 60 anniversary of the Chrysler 300. Andy Love, head of car product marketing at Chrysler, introduced the all-new Chrysler 300 model. The updated model maintains the traditional Chrysler 300 look with a sleeker front grill that has been enhanced 32 percent. The Chrysler 300 will be available in four different trims with prices starting at $31,395.

“The most significant news for us [Jeep] in 2015 is the new Renegade,” said Jim Morrison, director of Jeep brand marketing. “It is a true Jeep that delivers power to the ground.” The all-new Jeep Renegade will hit the market in a few months offering over 100 accessories. The new accessories offered will allow customers to customize their ride to the next level.

The last stop for the traveling breakfast was Fiat. Fiat introduced a new addition to their “Italian family” with the 2016 Fiat 500X. The Fiat 500X crossover blends genuine Italian design with an advanced all-wheel drive system. New to the crossover segment, Fiat hopes to raise the bar with its advanced drive systems, available push-button and remote start and exceptional handling and fuel economy.
