First seen during 2001, including the '01 Chicago show, the Buick Bengal concept car made a return visit to the Windy City in 2002. Designed as a four-passenger, four-door roadster, the Bengal blended classic Buick design cues, like the toothy-grille, with modern features, including the spoiler/taillight combination. Bengal was a name selected to honor golfer Tiger Woods, who appeared in Buick promotional material at the time. Buick was also a sponsor of the PGA circuit.
