Chicago Automobile Trade Association Board Member Kelly Webb Roberts Makes Automotive News’ 40 Under 40 List for 2017

Automotive News named Kelly Webb Roberts, Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) board member and president of Webb Auto Group, to its prestigious 40 Under 40 retail roster for 2017. The list, which was published in Automotive News’ special section earlier this week, is comprised of 40 individuals under the age of 40 who, in the opinion of Automotive News, are making a difference in the automotive retail environment in the U.S. and Canada. Notably, Webb Roberts was recognized for guiding her dealership group’s expansion and quadrupling its revenue.

“I am honored be selected as one of Automotive News’ 40 Under 40 individuals,” said Webb Roberts. “It is truly an outstanding recognition.”

Webb Roberts, a third-generation dealer, spearheaded Webb Auto Group’s dealership acquisitions where she went from owning and operating one dealership in 2010 to four. Today, underneath the Webb Auto Group umbrella, are Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn and Webb Chevrolet in Plainfield, Illinois, and Webb Hyundai in Highland and Webb Hyundai Mitsubishi in Merrillville, Indiana.

Webb Roberts attributes much of Webb Auto Group’s business success to her dealership employees. Her strategy moving forward is to continue to invest in Webb Auto Group’s employees.

“For us to continue growing, it comes down to developing successful people,” she said.

Webb Roberts was elected to the CATA Board in 2016 and currently serves as the media strategy committee chairman.
