Giving Day 2019: We did it!
Sixteen Carthage Model United Nations students, accompanied by professors Jeffrey Roberg and Penny Seymoure, traveled abroad to Amsterdam, Netherlands to participate in the Amsterdam University College Model United Nations Conference April 4-9, 2019. AUCMUN had approximately 200 participants from 64 countries.
Carthage students raised approximately $8,500 to renovate and provide a safe, clean school bathroom to the Nkume Primary School in the town of Eshowe.
Carthage has selected Ms. Dam Bich Thuy, founding president of Fulbright University Vietnam, to deliver the 2019 commencement address on May 26. President Thuy will also receive an honorary degree from Carthage.
