A spin off of "random acts of kindness," Ford recently launched a new campaign: Random Acts of Fusion encourages fans to participate in a 47-day challenge (September 18 – November 4) for 47 chances to win an all-new 2013 Fusion Hybrid – all in celebration of the model’s best-in-class EPA estimated 47 city/47 highway/47 combined mpg. The 2013 Fusion, which was shown at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, is set to go on sale this fall.
Ford is frequently recognized for its social media marketing efforts – and for good reason – as the brand has experienced a great deal of success in this space. The Random Acts of Fusion campaign has a strong celebrity endorsement with Ryan Seacrest and Joel McHale as the faces of the program and trends right on target with Ford’s marketing vision – all driven via social media.
So how can you enter to win one of the Fusions up for grabs? Ford is providing fans with three different challenges to win:
[NOW LIVE] The 47-Day Photo Challenge: Now through November 4, Ford will present fans with a new, daily photo challenge via Twitter, Facebook, and its website. Today’s photo challenge, for example, directs fans to take a photo of a street address containing the number "47." Fans can enter one photo per day.
[COMING SOON] The 47-Hour Scavenger Hunt: Details of this contest are still TBD, but fans will have the opportunity to enter a 47-city scavenger hunt for one of 47 chances to win. More details will be available soon on RandomActsofFusion.com.
[COMING SOON] The 47-Min Last Chance Countdown: This is a race against the clock for one final chance to win an all-new Fusion. Details to be announced.
Ford is also hosting "pop-up" events nationwide (to nominate your city, click here). For additional program details, check out Ford’s Random Acts of Fusion Facebook app or follow the conversation on Twitter at #RandomActs.
Think you’ll remember that the new 2013 Ford Fusion has a best-in-class EPA estimated 47 city/47 highway/47 combined mpg? We sure will.
