Volkswagen Announces Pricing for 2013 Beetle TDI Clean Diesel Coupe 
Originally unveiled at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, Volkswagen announced pricing for the 2013 Beetle TDI. The base model starts at just $23,295. Available this August, this fuel efficient bug touts an estimated fuel economy of 41 mpg highway and 32 mpg city.
The oil-burning Beetle also offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injection Clean Diesel engine that produces 140 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The TDI model comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Also available is a six-speed automatic. VW offers two upgraded models, one featuring a sunroof and the other complete with both sunroof and navigation, prices respectively at $24,895 and $26,195.
