The Prius scored a narrow victory over the Honda Insight, winning by less than 50 votes out of more than 1500 cast yesterday at the Tokyo Motor Show. This win strengthens the pattern of environmentally friendly vehicles’ dominance in the past few years. Winners in other categories include the Volkswagen Golf as the 'Import Car of the Year', the Mitsubishi i-MiEV for 'Most Advanced Technology', the 'Most Fun' Nissan Fairlady Z, and the 'Best Value' Subaru Legacy.
