Jaguar's 2012 prestigious XKR-S Convertible stole the spotlight Sunday afternoon at the Chicago Auto Show. Only 25 were to be offered here in the United States and the Polaris White example standing alone under the lights in McCormick Place is one of 11 that are left.
It is the fastest open-topped GT Jaguar has ever created, with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 rated at 550 horsepower. The interior is dressed in trimmed carbon leather, and the power-operated folding cloth top takes its passengers from inside to out in just 18 seconds with the hit of a finger. Passengers are treated to a 7-inch touch-screen for navigation, Bluetooth Wireless Technology, climate control and valet settings.
The XKR-S drop top has a price set at $138,875 and is sure to charm anyone who is lucky enough to cruise in it. Just a few left, so what are you waiting for?
