I couldn't have picked a better time to be shopping for a new car. My position here at the Chicago Auto Show gives me access to more automotive expertise that I could get in a year's worth of reading Road & Track or Motortrend. In addition, I'll have unlimited access to a sea of more than 1000 vehicles come this February at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
The lease on my 2009 Nissan Rogue is up in April and I can't wait to move on to something new. Rogue has treated me well these last 3 years, but I'd like your advice on my next vehicle choice. Nothing too pricey seeing as I am a 22 year old who graduated from college not too long ago so I need to be realistic on what I get. I've decided I am definitely going to lease again because I like to change my style up every couple of years.
A few cars that I have been looking at are 2012 Jeep Compass, 2012 Mazda CX9, 2012 (new and improved) Nissan Rogue, or the 2012 Hyundai Tucson. These four cars caught my attention because of the size of them. I am used to driving the Rogue so an SUV that's too much larger would be off my list.
Also, I do not want a coupe. I drove a Mitsubishi Eclipse prior to my Rogue and I don't want to go back. It was too small. I like being higher up in my vehicle--makes me feel like I have more control.
Although, I have been looking into these SUVs I am definitely not limited to this selection so let me know what'cha think! I'm open to any ideas.
