Yesterday afternoon I attended MotorWeek's Press Conference. After receiving the 2010 National Speedway Directory and a book on the History of America's Speedway Past & Present, I knew they would instantly go into my take-home bag from the Chicago Auto Show! I proceeded to listen to the announcement of Chevy Volt's 2011 Driver's Choice of the Year Award and eat the complimentary ice cream.
While yes, my strawberry shortcake ice cream was delicious, I also enjoyed watching the video that advertised the efficiency of the new technology in the Volt. It's unbelievable to think that we're finally using electric vehicles! I immediately wanted to get behind the wheel and test drive the Volt to experience the fun myself. I can't even begin to imagine the day when we're all using electric vehicles, but I’m looking forward to it. At the rate that Facebook took off, I can only hope this trend will continue to move quickly.
