Flashy cars, beautiful women (six of which were with me), and cameras flashing. Is this real life? It actually was for me!

Well, the Social Media Preview began here at the Chicago Auto Show this lovely Thursday morning. I got a chance to take a very long stroll on the show room floors. There are an inordinate amount of magnificent cars to be seen! Special guests have been invited today to feed the frenzy of social media about the showroom floor!

Yesterday I attended the Economic Club of Chicago Luncheon with speaker Jonathon Browning, President and CEO of Volkswagen. I enjoyed a delicious crab cake, grilled chicken breast and steamed vegetables for lunch followed by a delectable chocolate mousse for dessert.

President and CEO of Hyundai, John Krafcik addressed the media yesterday at the Hyundai press conference. Joining Krafcik at the conference in celebration of their 25 years in the United Sates were Vice President, Mike O’Brien, professional racecar driver, Rhys Millen and on the front row sat motocross professional, Robbie Maddison.
