Rachel Anderson, originally from Peoria, IL, is working toward her Bachelors Degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and minors in Marketing and Business Management. During her time at Bradley, Rachel has been an executive board member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority for two consecutive years. She was the Public Relations Vice President acting as the liaison between her sorority and the Peoria community. This position allowed Rachel to gain experience in the challenging and exciting world of communications.
Rachel has held two internships within the marketing and public relations industries. In the summer of 2007, she was a promotions intern for the Peoria Chiefs, Chicago Cubs - Single A Affiliate. Currently, Rachel is the program intern for the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce. This allows her to work in several different areas of media relations and public affairs. The Chamber internship has allowed her to gain experience in a fast-paced work environment, while she helps to target specific publics for fundraising events. Rachel is thrilled to be part of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association and complete an internship for the 2009 Chicago Auto Show.
