SEMA: the show where an enthusiast can see their wildest auto fantasies come to life. A couple weeks ago, I traveled to Las Vegas, NV to check out the mecca of auto shows for an enthusiast-minded auto geek. The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show is one-of-a-kind that features the latest performance upgrades and concepts from auto manufactures, custom-built privately-owned vehicles, driving experiences and the latest in automotive products.

Back on the track in the small cars with the big growl

Earlier this summer, I attended a track school at GingerMan Raceway to learn track driving skills in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. After a day of driving the 5,000-lb. SUV on the track, my instructor told me any other car would be a breeze. A couple weeks ago, I was able to determine the validity of that statement and put those skills to the test in another track driving experience, only in cars less than half the size of the Grand Cherokee.

Midwest Automotive Media Association Fall Rally 2018

10 Millionth Ford Mustang Rolls Off the Assembly Line

Today Ford is celebrating the production of its 10-millionth Mustang, a Wimbledon White GT V8 model convertible. The first Mustang produced in 1964 was the same color and model. In fact, the first Mustang ever sold was sold right here in Chicago, before its debut at the World Fair and two days before it was set to go on sale. As of 2015, Gail and Tom Wise still owned it, and fans may even remember seeing it on display at the Chicago Auto Show. It’s in perfect condition.
