Ladies Day Out at the Chicago Auto Show

Posted by: Shelby Duitsman

I have said several times this week how truly impressed I am how the Chicago Auto Show caters to people of every age, gender, and race. With that mindset, I had high expectation for Women’s Day at the Chicago Auto Show. My expectations were met with flying colors!

Ladies day kicked off at the Chicagonista Live! stage with a ribbon dance and a lion dance to help celebrate the Chinese New Year. Chicagonista Live! also announced their 2014 Trail Blazing Women and honored them with an award as they shared their success stories to a crowd of listeners.

My favorite part of the Chicagonista Live! program at the Chicago Auto Show was the performance by cast members of the popular Broadway show, Phantom of the Opera. Ben Jacoby and Julia Udine dazzled the packed audience as they performed “All I Ask of You” from the iconic show, which is currently on stage at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.

With half-priced tickets, Women’s Day at the Chicago Auto Show was made even better for the ladies. With so many activities and discounted tickets what more could a woman want?
