Aurora Man Wins Camry Replica Pace Car at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show
Thomas Buttaccio of Aurora was the lucky winner of a replica Toyota Camry Pace Car that will be gracing the track at the historic Daytona 500 this evening in Florida.
In January and February, the 30 dealers who comprise the Chicagoland Toyota Dealers offered area residents the opportunity to win a replica of the 2012 Toyota Daytona 500 Camry Pace Car through an online contest. Ultimately, 10 semi-finalists from thousands of entries were selected with the chance to win the Camry on the final day of the Chicago Auto Show, February 19.
That day, all 10 semi-finalists were provided identical envelopes, with the winner determined by the envelope containing a photo of the Camry Pace Car. Buttaccio held the lucky envelope and was immediately congratulated by John Beaumont, Merchandising and Marketing Manager for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.’s Chicago sales region.
