Interactive Displays

 

If you think that the only thing to do at the Chicago Auto Show is look at cars, then you haven't been down to the show for quite some time. Strewn among the sleek and shiny cars are a multitude of tactile, visual, and physically interactive displays.

This year we have THREE indoor test tracks. There is the Jeep Test Track where you can climb into a Jeep Wrangler and have a professional driver take you through their exhilarating obstacle course. Chrysler has a multi-brand track that features an acceleration lane, slalom and brake zone. Toyota, got a hybrid and plug-in drive course. Additionally, ther are six outdoor test drive opportunities. Sign up for those at Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan and Subaru exhibits. Plus there's so much more for families to do on the floor of the Chicago Auto Show. North Hall

Acura: An Acura social media board, along with Acura stories.  This board allows you to customize vehicles, enter sweepstakes, and get connected with social media

Cadillac: Driving Stimulators

Chevy: Charging station for phones, along with a button design station.  In addition Chevy has a customize your own Chevy vehicle board to share on social media. Chevy also has a Gran Turismo corvette, a real driving stimulator, a Hot Wheels jump, and a photo kiosk to post, share, and broadcast

GMC: Interactive display board for the 2014 Sierra

Hyundi: A BlueLink interactive board that allows you to explore Hyundi packages and videos.  In addition there is a Santa Fe kiosk that allows you to customize your Santa Fe and allows you to enter and win sweepstakes.

Lexus: Shimamoku steering wheel, with a steering display and video

Chrysler: Track, informational iPads

Ford: Online applications for monetary needs, driving simulator Focus ST, Tilt maze game, Facebook, Mustang remote control racetrack, stuffed animal drawing

Honda: Xbox games, Interactive Lane Watch; blind spot monitor, information kiosks for each car

Jeep: Off-road indoor track, rock wall, kid zone, minute to win-it, "Mountain Pass Game" and "Lucky Seven", informational iPads

Kia: Augmented Reality Wall with the dancing hamsters, Kinect game, driving simulator, sports sightings, interactive informational kiosks

Mazda: Mazda Raceway riding simulator

Mini: Green screen driving simulator (down a mountain), configurator building your own mini, iPads for informational purposes

Nissan: GT Academy Test Drive allows individuals to compete on a virtual driving system then the individual has the option to sign up for professional race driving school. Interactive walls are also available to attendees.

Ram: Kiosk's for prizes, Build your own Ram on a computer screen

Scion: "Ghost glass" allows you to not only interact with the interactive tables for  a game but they serve as a decoder for information on the automobiles. The cards also serve as a monocle for hidden messages on the media screens. Customers can also build their own car though a computer simulator and charge their phone at the charging stations.

Subaru: Touch screen brochure, interactive informational kiosks

Toyota: Offers an "Augmented Reality" program to allow customers a look into the mechanics of the Avalon, all you need to do it move around with the iPad. You can customize a Prius and take it out on the road. Also experience the "Toyota Live" game show.
