While there are many activities that appeal to women during the run of the nine-day Chicago Auto Show, organizers host Women's Day annually to further reach the female demographic. Auto manufacturers know that females are an important demographic to which to market, as 80 percent of women influence the purchase decision when it comes to shopping for a new car.
Held this year on Tuesday, Feb. 16, Women's Day at the Chicago Auto Show will feature a robust lineup of events and activities geared toward the female car buyers.
The Chicago Auto Show and its Women's Day sponsor, the Chicago Tribune, are hosting a full schedule of events in coordination with the Chicagonista LIVE! podcast. The program, Women Driving Excellence, is aimed at celebrating women who start, accelerate, fuel and steer others to excel.
